Flagler County, FL Tax Collector Goes Live with TaxSys®

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — Grant Street Group announced today that the Flagler County Tax Collector’s office has gone live with TaxSys® as its new tax collection and billing system. Flagler County has a population of over 100,000 and is the 24th Florida county to implement TaxSys.
Located on Florida’s northeast coast, Flagler includes the communities of Beverly Beach, Bunnell, Flagler Beach, Marineland, and Palm Coast.
TaxSys, the country’s first fully hosted cloud-based property tax collection system, processes over 61% ($21 billion) of property taxes collected in Florida using Grant Street’s private and secure government cloud.
“We welcome the improvements TaxSys is already bringing to our office,” said Suzanne Johnston, Flagler County Tax Collector. “We began using Grant Street’s Tourist Development Tax System last year [August 2018] and were blown away by how easy and user-friendly the system is to operate. Grant Street’s implementation team was laser focused and provided tremendous support and training, which made this a great experience for my staff.”
In addition to TaxSys, the Flagler County Tax Collector’s office is using Grant Street’s PaymentExpress® solution for payment processing and LienHub® for tax certificate sales, county-held certificate purchases, and tax deed applications – all seamlessly integrated with TaxSys.
